In 1983 Eric Rodriguez was born to an African
American mother and a Puerto Rican father. With a
love of music and a thirst for knowledge, Eric would
grow up to embrace the HipHop and lyricism of
artists who were popular before he was conceived.
As he grew older, Eric became one of the most
respected EmCees in the Triad. Taking on the
moniker Enoch Tha Messenjah, Eric was determined
not to simply be a rapper but to be a messenger and
a soldier determined to bring attention to the
injustices and hatred of the world through his music.
In 2004 Enoch, along with his close friend Harrison
Spencer aka
Jira, Enoch penned a track that  would
give birth to a movement and an annual event
commemorating that movement. The track was
"Beautiful Black Girls", a song proclaiming the love
for Black women at a time when most rappers were
calling them bitches and hoes and rhyming about
baby mama drama. The movement was an
unwavering, unapologetic, even boastful love for
Black women, and the event was
The Beautiful Black
Woman Festival.

Enoch has performed in places like Alabama,
Georgia, Chicago, and New York and has received
praise and community service awards along with a
few offers for collaborations.
